Be Prepared

  • My offer and your Affirmative acceptance (email or mobile apps messages) are the ethical agreement on both sides, accepting it constitutes that you have read and agreed to all of the above terms of reference.

  • All questions, comments, and/ or concerns about the above terms and disclaimers are to be addressed directly by Doa’a Abu Gharbyieh.

  • Before the session begins, make sure you have your notebook, pen, laptop, recording device (if used), etc, ready before the session. Our time together is precious and no need to waste it trying to locate you stuff.

Once we have our agreement in place, please the following is your role as a “client”:

  • Make our coaching sessions a priority. Take time before each session to review what we have been tackling. Please ensure that you have taken the action steps you agreed on or completed the homework you decided to do to the best of your ability. The most crucial part is for you to have an idea of what you’d like to take away from the session. Coaching relies on the client’s priorities.

  • Please arrive at every meeting on time.

  • Come to your session centered and be open-minded. Be willing to change your beliefs and patterns if they do not serve you anymore.

  • Give me feedback about your coaching experience –what works as well as what doesn’t. Do not ever worry about hurting my feelings or fear what I might think. I am here to support you, not judge you or make decisions for you. If something I say does not resonate with you, I want to know about it.

What I expect from You

  • I will listen carefully to you, respond to what I hear, and ask questions. If I hear something in your voice or body language that sparks an intuitive idea, thought, or image, I’m likely to share it and ask you questions about it. Often it is these small nuances that create more significant shifts for clients. Remember, if it doesn’t resonate, tell me. I’m not attached to being right.

  • At the end of the session, if you do not mention what actions you are ready to take, I will make a guide request. I ask clients to dig deeper within themselves by either journaling at home, taking a defined action, resolving relationships, and tackling things that feel incomplete. You are free to negotiate, accept, or decline, based on your inner authority (Human Design Reference). Most of the work will be about self-awareness and your own decision-making authority.

My Role

God forbid, but in case of death or serious injury or illness, or other catastrophic event, please know I’m here for you in my capacity as a counselor. Although true emergencies are rare, if something does happen, I want you to count me as part of your support team if that feels right to you.
